Our Sustainability Commitment

Responsible travel, built into every journey

At the heart of every active itinerary that we craft is a commitment to a style of travel that leaves the world better than we found it.

As champions of human-powered journeys, we believe that travelling by foot, paddle or pedal not only revitalises the body and mind, but it also deepens your connection with the landscapes, cultures and communities you move through.

Through our ethical practices, regenerative vision, meaningful partnerships and unwavering commitment to low-impact travel, we bring our purpose to life: to connect travellers with the world’s wild places and vibrant cultures through active, immersive adventures that take the paths less travelled. In doing so, we foster deeper understanding, empower local communities and help leave a lasting, positive impact on both the traveller and the planet.

People & Culture

We place local communities at the heart of our each trip.

By working with experienced local guides, operators and suppliers, we help support livelihoods, encourage skills development and foster long-term partnerships.

Our active journeys are designed to promote respectful cultural exchange and ensure the benefits of tourism are shared within the communities we visit.

Nature & Wildlife

Travelling through remote and fragile environments carries responsibility.

We design our active trips to minimise impact through small group sizes, careful route planning and adherence to environmental and wildlife guidelines.

Working alongside park authorities and conservation partners, we aim to protect ecosystems and wildlife habitats for future generations.

Climate Action

We recognise that travel contributes to climate change.

Our focus is on reducing emissions through thoughtful trip design, operational efficiencies and longer, slower styles of travel – like trekking and cycling.

We measure and offset the carbon footprint of our operations through verified programs, while continuing to identify opportunities to reduce our overall impact.
